Set of 52 cards + instruction sheet
The text on the first 47 cards comes from the peace prayers collected from the twelve major religions of the world.. They can be used as a way to begin your day in prayer, or to focus throughout the day on peace. The instruction sheet in the pack suggests other possibilities, and you may well invent your own method. The cards can be used when on your own or within the context of a group, workshop or classroom discussion.
There are also three Tone Cards. They are: Surrender, Trust and Gratitude, what the Emissaries of Light called, The Ultimate Spiritual Process.
Finally, there are two extra blank cards where you can add your own prayer of peace. Find a prayer that resonates with your own soul, and write them down.
Here are the two ways to use these cards:
1. Set the three Tone Cards aside and pick one. This will set the tone for your day. Let it enter your mind as often as possible and try to live the day from that state. Now pick five cards from the deck and lay them face down in front of you. This is your own personal peace prayer for the day. Turn them over and let them sink deep into your soul. Go back to them during the day whenever you need inspiration.
2. Pick one card whenever you need to focus on peace. Breathe that card deep into your lungs. Let the prayer become part of your day.
